Emma Chamberlan, co-owner of coffee brand Emma Chamberlains, has been called a “coffee queen”.
She is a passionate coffee drinker and the author of a book called “Coffee: The Art of Making, Buying and Enjoying It”.
And she is also an expert in coffee.
In a recent interview with Al Jazeera, she shared some insights into her coffee preferences, the challenges of sourcing coffee and the world of caffeine consumption.
Al Jazeera: How did you start your coffee journey?
Emma Chamberls: I’ve always been a coffee drinkers.
My mum used to make me coffee every morning.
When I was little, my dad was a barista and I loved coffee, so I started to buy it.
And then I started experimenting with different kinds of coffee beans.
I used to buy a little bit of coffee and try different blends, and then I would bring home coffee from my friends.
The first time I tried an espresso was when I was in high school, and I was just trying to get a feel for what it was going to taste like.
Al-Jazeera: What kind of coffee do you use?
Emma: I don’t really have a particular coffee preference, I really like to get different types of coffee in the house.
I’m always on the go, and coffee has been a big part of my life for many, many years.
And coffee is one of my favourite things.
I love the aroma and taste, the aroma is very, very fresh, and the taste is very different from a lot of other coffee, and that’s a very nice thing.
Al‑Jazeera “Caffeine is a very big part to me.
I feel that it is a part of me that has to do with life, and it has to be a part that you are willing to take on the journey of life.
I am an entrepreneur, so there is a lot more money involved, and you’re also a big businessman, so you have to be flexible, and so I’m very fortunate in that regard.”

Aljazeera: Do you feel that the global market for coffee is changing?
Emma : No, not at all.
I don�t think it’s changing at all, because I think it�s going to remain a very important part of the coffee industry for many years to come.
Al-‘Jazeera : You’ve said that you want to be in the coffee business for many more years.
Is there a chance of that?
Emma Chambers: I think so.

Emma-C: I have a big problem with coffee that I have to say is really common in the world.
It�s the fact that we have an industry where people who don’t drink coffee have to buy coffee to make it.
That is very unfair, and we should be doing things differently.
Al Jazeera: How does that make you feel?
EmmaChambers: Well, it’s like a giant problem that is not going to be solved any time soon.
I know that we�re not going back to the good old days when we had people who worked hard to make coffee, who were not just drinking it, who cared about it, but who loved it.
So I think that we are going to need a lot from the coffee community in the future, not just from us, but from the rest of the world as well.
I think the best thing that we can do in the next five to 10 years is to take the responsibility to make sure that coffee is good for us, and good for our children, and make sure we get our children drinking coffee.
